The Metal Expansion Kit from Ultimaker and BASF Forward AM is now available from our network of resellers. This kit allows you to print functional steel parts on your Ultimaker S5 at a fraction of the cost of other metal production methods. The kit includes Ultimaker Print Cores optimized for metal printing and a workflow developed in collaboration with BASF Forward AM. It also includes BASF Forward AM filaments, post-processing services, and access to the latest Ultimaker software and e-learning modules. The Metal Expansion Kit combines 17-4 PH stainless steel with a metal-optimized support material, allowing for the creation of high-strength parts with complex geometries.
