What is Additive Manufacturing?

Sheet lamination is a term used to describe two techniques: Laminated Object Manufacturing (LOM) and Ultrasonic Additive Manufacturing (UAM). LOM involves 3D printing products using sheets of paper that are joined together with adhesive. However, these objects are only suitable for aesthetic purposes and not structural use. UAM, on the other hand, uses metal sheets instead of paper and welds them together instead of using adhesive. This technology can 3D print with metals such as aluminum, copper, steel, and titanium.
